Well, really, every decision we make, every fork in the road we take, is an emoyional toss of the coin. That's just the way we work. The brain's function is to help narrow the field of options, and then to ratify the decision. I feel uneasy. My brain figures out why and what I can do to resolve the unease. My emotions toss the coin. My brain passes judgement, so that I can put the dilemma behind me and move on.
Yes it is, literally. So, in the first world countries that all of us here live in, EVERYTHING is acquired by emotion, which makes this discussion a moot point. Exception is the poster of a day or so ago who needs insulin equipment. That is need.
I daresay that everything in all our homes is acquired by emotion, not need.
