Re: [iPad] New Mini and iPad--When?

Hee, well, you are not too far wrong, sort of. I read the other day, that Apple patented a screen that wraps around. Well, not like what you described, but the screen wraps around the edge. Put your phone on a table, all you can see is now screen, including the sides.

I don't like the iPad Mini. Off course it is very nice, but in a tablet bigger is better, for me. But, i'f the mini included a phone, or if there was a minier mini at 6", I'd consider that as my next phone. Yes, too big for a phone, but I call little, I would make do with the carry size inconvenience as the using size convenience matters more

Yes, but I feel silly carrying both - phone in pocket and tablet in bag.  That will stop when the iPad becomes a phone.  When pigs fly - they'd be shooting themselves in the foot, probably.

How about a scroll phone?  Fits in pocket, can be used rolled up as a phone and unrolled as a tablet.

Best thing about the iPad is screen size

Best thing about the iPhone is the carry-a-bility everywhere

Probably best to have one of each rather than a product that does both not as well. (Screen size and carry-a-bility)
