I use iTouch as a familiar or term of endearment. "iPod Touch" is so formal!

Not by apple but by darn near everything I've read. Apple calls it iPod touch. 3 long syllabes. Itouch is 33% less syllables. It's been  used that way on mac_x since about week one also.

Not that I know of. If Apple wanted to call it iTouch, they would have. They called it iPod Touch. Bloggers call it Touch for short as I've heard Apple call it.

iPod touch was shortened to itouch almost the week it came out.

I ask the question again, what is an iTouch? I've never heard of one. I've heard of the iPod Touch and its shortened name Touch.

Isn't the iTouch already a mini mini-iPad?
