Here's another question. I was hoping to log into another one of my account names on my Mac and back up my iPad on iTunes there. However, the iTunes there did not recognize my iPad, only iPhoto did.  

Is it at all possible to do that?

Could the fact that I don't have the file com.apple.itunes.plist in my preferences folder be the reason I cannot back up my iPad? I just went to check on it, and I don't see it there.
