Ok. To power off saves states. To crash everything and restart using the multiple finger salute supposedly resets a lot of VRAM and other like stuff why salute with two when three Is that much more. Well. Just always go for three fingers....

Rebooting is kind of like turning the television off and then back on. Resetting is kind of like pulling the plug and plugging it back in.--david@luda.netpad4In the examples I'd call apples method a reboot or restart and the posters method is resetting or a force restart.
