Re: [iPad] Kindle Reader Crashes

I've got an ipad4, which is pretty much the same as an ipad3.  My Kindle app is klunky, but it doesn't crash.  I'd delete the app and reload it.

If the crashes continue, you may have too much stuff running in the background.  Kill those processes and see if helps.

Are you rebooting the ipad every now and then?  IOS seems to need that, alas.

Frequent crashes are something I associate with my ipad1 just before I gave up on it.  I assume that was partly, at least, a processor-speed and memory limitation.  IDevices seem to need replacing oftener than the 3-5 years common for PCs.

My iPad (3? Purchased June 2012) has the Kindle reader app, which I have used a lot with no problems. Recently I upgraded to iOS6. When I open the Kindle reader, it shows the list of books fine. But when I touch a book to open it, K.r. quits. It will open again fine, but when I touch a book (even one I have read before), K.r. quits again.

Do I need to upgrade the Kindle reader to go with the new OS? If so, how? It has not offered an upgrade. adTHANKSvance!
