Yes there is -- in the Settings on the General Page is an entry for
Auto-Lock. You can select from among 4 settings for the amount of time
the iPad has to be untouched before it will turn itself off, or you can
select "Never."
I keep mine set at "never" because when I use my iPad for playing music
and/or conducting, the iPad can easily sit untouched for longer than the
longest setting they've built-in (15 minutes) but I still am using it.
