Logged out on phone, logged back in, cannot connect to iTunes Store. Again, fail, again, success. Makes no sense. I can understand if server down but other devices ok

On my iPhone 5. iPad 3 can and wifes iPhone 4S can, I checked by going to View Apple ID in Settings - General. When I do that or try to get a new app, cannot connect to iTunes Store. Ok on wifes 4S who uses my Apple ID. I did get an app on my 5 by getting on PC iTunes while phone was cabled, it just started. Reluctant to log out on the phone and log back in in case it makes it worse
