I just did some checking. iPods are single platform. iPads should be OK to sync with Mac and then, change your mind and sync with PC.
You must have iTunes on the PC and use a USB cable the first time. The iPad should appear after a couple of minutes in the left-hand "Libraries" column.

Is it possible to back up my iPad to a PC instead of a Mac? As per my last email, I am having serious issues with my iPad not being able to back up to the Mac or the iCloud.
Can I just do it to a PC? I've been searching for info, but not seeing any good answers. I'm mainly interested in backing up the apps data, network data, emails, etc., before it gets wiped clean.
