[iPad] Re: GPS on iPad4

Hi Carol,
I have a Verizon MiFi device. I called Verizon to ask them to activate the GPS chip in the device and they refused saying they only did that for commercial accounts. Did you have to do that with AT&T?

So I bought a MiFi, which gives me my own wifi connection anywhere (at least anywhere that there is AT&T). So far, it has been wonderful! It can simultaneously do up to 10 electronic devices at a time -- and we have set all our laptops, iPads and iPhones to accept it. It costs me $35 a month on my AT&T bill, but it's worth it. I could have tied my iPads to my iPhone, but then I would have lost my unlimited wifi on the phone.
