[iPad] Re: apps for a painter

He should check out ArtRage.  It has many different modes such as oils, watercolor, pastels etc. and is deeply customizable.  You can save and export works to be further processed.  I love it.

Hi - I have a neighbor who is a professional portrait painter and he has asked me if there are any great iPad 4 apps that he could use if he bought an ipad.

I told him I would ask.

He knows the max is like 2048x2048 pixels and that's fine.

He is a Photoshop user and wants to be able to transfer iPad output into his PC for further processing presumably via .jpg

Is the iPad capable yet of being of value to a professional painter?

Which apps would you recommend he take a close look at. Looks like there are painting apps and paper apps. All suggestions appreciated. Thanks!
