Re: [iPad] SmartOffice 2 question

The problem with all "mobile" version of the "desktop" apps are that they only offer a minimal amount of features found in the Desktop versions. The "non-Microsoft" Office products offerring all handle Microsoft products differently. I have yet to see one product handle all documents. Even when they do open them, they sometimes format them differently.

This is true with the Apple products like Keynote, Pages and Numbers. The Desktop are iOS versions are not identical in feature and function.

The mobile word of document handling is like a "box of Chocolates" you never know what you are going to get.

I received a .doc attachment, but SmartOffice 2 refused to open it. It wasn't anything exotic -- just an all-text rental agreement. Isn't that exactly what SmartOffice is supposed to do? If anyone has experience with SmartOffice perhaps you could speculate on what the problem might be.

Many thanks,
