Yep, an Aroid (Araceae). Their flowers are pretty distinctive. An interesting family and in spite of calling them GDAs there are some really cool ones.

Looks like an Aroid of some kind. Jack in the Box is an aroid, so is elephant ear and many many others. When in Ecuador looking for Gesneriads, we called them GDAs (G-D Aroids) because you find so many of them instead of what you are looking for.
