- What does AnyPlay cost?AnyPlay is available to qualified Comcast customers for $10.00 per month. A shipping and handling fee may apply for an AnyPlay self-installation kit. For professional in-home installation by a Comcast technician, additional charges may apply. This is why I have never liked Comcast. They are always trying to rob their customers. There is no reason to charge $10 a month for what other company provide for free.Sure they are providing a separate box so they can say it is just another converter box like you would need if you added cable to a TV in another room, but it is not needed.Maybe it is genius to find a way to make the new technology behave like the old technology. It would make sense if it extended the broadcast outside the house, but it doesn't.I would rather buy a slingbox instead of renting their device.

Comcast told me it would be an additional $10 per month when I called to see if it was available in my area.
