Re: [iPad] I did a cellular account for a month, then dropped it. Now I need a new sim?

It sounds like you did the "dropped it" part wrong and deleted your account. (I wouldn't know because I never deleted my account while I was with AT&T or Verizon and am now on a Shareplan.)

You need to talk to the prepaid group at Verizon. I hope you have the cellular data number that was associated with your iPad.

Hi, I had a cellular account for a month on my Verizon iPad3 then dropped it. I tried to start a new cell account but got a message:

"Invalid sim card - Sorry we cannot activate your device because the sim card you are using has already been associated to another account or is no longe supported. Please visit a Verizon Wireless store or call 1-800-256-4646 for a new sim card (31058005)."

I thought I read somewhere on this list that after a sim has been inactive for a day or two that one could re-use it. Is that true? If so, how do I go about reactivating my current sim card?

Thanks.
