Take a picture and see what the usage number changes to. Then go to the Camera Roll and delete it. Check the usage number.I'm also wondering how many photos it shows in the Settings/General/About/Photos number.
TedSent from my iPad 3when i open the photos app there is no camera roll and there are no albums ...that's because i deleted all the images...seems to me deleting all that data should result in a "zero" consumption readout for photos & camera when i look in usage...but it says 717mb, all in camera roll...what am i missing?

TedSent from my iPad 3the breakdown shows all 717mb is being consumed in camera roll...but it's all been deleted.
