I wanna shift from PC to Mac but one of my friends encountered a problem with access of the bank account through a Mac or Ipad, so when he reached the customer service they suggested to access the account through a PC and he could, did any one have a similar problem?

I remember having that problem.

Not in recent years on any site I've visited.

And it is easy to move data through a portable hard drive but i wanna ask weather all the PC soft wares run on the Mac? I had down loaded lot of movies and songs through my PC, and they run on VLC media player but will they play on the Mac?

NO PC software will run natively on a Mac.

They use completely different operating systems.
That said, you can install either Bootcamp or a virtualization program (like VMWare Fusion, or Parallels) which will all support actually installing Windows on a Mac.

However, both movies and songs are NOT software; they are data.

In general, yes, they can play on a Mac, although -- depending on their format -- they may require format conversion.
