Not for me. But I am super heavy power user.
If you get "WiFi + cellular" you have the option of arranging for
cellular service if you'll need it, but you don't have to, right?
You can activate when needed and the cool thing is it is a monthly plan i.e. if you use it 3 months you are not on hook for 2 year contracts or anything you only pay the months you use.
Apple will engrave something on the back of the iPad free.

Me I did not know that. I will stop by Apple store and have them engrave my 3 kid's names. Unfortunately the case will hide it (I don't use smart case) but I may cut slot to see the engraving.
Accessories: What cases, protection, and keyboards do you
recommend? I use an external keyboard with my MBP so I think
I'd want a keyboard for an iPad.
I like a FULL SIZED BLUETOOTH KEYBOARD and an armored case because I am clumsy and drop a lot. The Apple Smart Case was not my taste.
Protection I like the screen protectors and Apple Care.
