Re: [iPad] Question to the long-time computer user

I never hold the iPad because I have the Joby Ori case/stand so it sits up nicely on my leg or on a table or on my tummy or wherever I am. My parrot likes to sit on top of the screen & get in the way of my game playing. Badbirdbadbirdbadbird!!!

However, I do have a newish pain on the inside of my right elbow. I thought it was from a worn out PC keyboard & got a New one but pain hasn't disappeared yet in a month. Maybe it takes longer to get better?

Are any of you experiencing pain or discomfort in your primary hand as result of using computers for an extended time? Or pain in your arm where your arm bends as a result for holding a smart phone or iPad?

FYI:
Carpal tunnel syndrome (or cubital tunnel syndrome) has both a bio-mechanical component (*how* you hold things and position your hand and arm) and an anatomical component.

Some people can hold objects or position their hand while typing in exactly the wrong way and never develop a problem.

I think I'm one of those. Although I try not to extend my wrists much while typing anyway, I have never had this problem.

[Unfortunately, that doesn't mean I haven't had other types of neurological problems.]
