Is your printer a wi-fi printer? If so, you should be able to use Print
N Share, which I use with my HP Deskjet Portable 470 and the wi-fi
dongle inserted. The iPad and the HP printer form a private network and
I can print wirelessly from many apps on my iPad.
Can your printer attach to your network independently of your PC? If
your printer is network capable then Print N Share should be able to
recognize it on your network without your PC being on.
But if your printer isn't network capable or wi-fi capable, then you're
out of luck printing from your iPad without having your PC on.
