Hesitating to reply to my own reply, Carlee, thank you very much! I was
finally able to figure out how to get the document simply from my iPad
to my computer using iWork.com. A bit convoluted, but now that I know
how to do it I should be fine from here on with this process.

I'm still sorry I can't offer you help with your problem involving iCloud.
