What are you going to do with the documents?
Are you going to transfer them back & forth with a computer?
I use Documents2Go, which does MSOffice files pretty well -- I don't do much
editing on my iPad, but I can if I want to, of files that I create (or want
to edit more) on my Windows PC.

I am just learning how to use the ipad. I have ipad2. What word program do
most of you recommend I use for documents. I am a newbie so something "user
friendlly" is good.
Thanks
Henry
