How ;would I find out IF my new computer has the XP features?  I would like to see if I can install some software that seems like it will not install with Windows 7.

I am only just starting with the new laptop with win7 but my son has a year using Uktimate and he has had good luck except with games which need a 3D adapter so it only does not require a 3D accelerator.  I don't understand all of that but he does!  World of Goo won't work in XP mode but my very old Sierra Complete Publisher will. Half life would not work but as stated Complete Publisher with my favorite program Micrografix Draw will.
