Thanks Carlee, It does sound like a good thing to have along with the iPad2. I'm going to find out what the monthly cost will be for one.

It is unbelievable what all you can do with the iPhone, including excellent photos and film clips. The iPhone and the iPad are my favorite all-time devices. I completely agree with the people who have said they complement each other. Sometimes the iPhone is much more practical to use than the iPad (it is easier to juggle the smaller device when you are out somewhere and have a lot of other things in your hands and need to look something up, for instance.) By the way, I sometimes transfer photos between my Apple devices and my Windows laptop with PhotoSync, available at the app store.
I don't think you would regret getting an iPhone.
