I've tried it, and it does work from my iPad and iPhone. The only problem is that the computer can't be asleep. That's a deal breaker for me.

Happy Friday everyone, I just found a great print application for the iPad.

I've tried a couple print applications for the iPad and they all seem  to have some kind of drawback. This morning I came across an article in Macworld. As is typical it talked in glowing words all about this new app. Okay okay, I went and checked it out and it's all they say it is. Very easy to set up you go to their website  shown below and download the trial version onto your computer. Go  through the normal setup. And it will list all the printers that your computer has access to.   Printopia will not show up in the iOS App Store because the application installs only on your computer.
Then you go to your iPad and choose an application such as Safari, Mail or photos and click on the little action button after you have a document open. There will be a pop down that includes options of printing or sending to your dropbox.
So supposedly it works with iWork's and numbers but I haven't figured that one out yet.

There is only one drawback to the application, of course this doesn't bother me.

oh, the drawback, it's only a Mac application.  LOL

This is being typed using Dragon Dictate.  Dragon Dictate allows you to talk and the computer to type your words as you speak. Any arrows, I will blame on the soft wear. ;-)

 Have a great day
