you will still be drawing power and wasting electricity. not a very green thing to do.

I do not believe the charger draws any power unless there is a device attached.

And if there is no draw on the powerpoint/charger, are you suggesting that the electricity just runs out of the plug into mid air?

have you people ever hear of google? look it up for chrissakes.

You look it up, and provide us the URL.

I googled various combinations of "ipad" "Apple" "charger" and "vampire power" before reading your message, without finding a useful site.
