Re: [iPad] Electronics and cold

I was at an evening class, to which I had driven, leaving my very ordinary Renault Megane Scenic in the college car park. My car was broken into because I had left my Tom Tom bracket behind; the car park was very badly lit and not patrolled. Nothing was taken but of course I had the repair of my quarterlight to arrange and pay for. It could have been a lot worse. I have not been back to the college because of that lack of security, especially as I now drive a convertible.

Police often say not to leave these gadgets in the car at all. "Portable"
means "easy to steal" as well. Even having evidence of the little
holder-thingie can lead to a break in to look for the device.
