by the way, I did an online chat with Nuance regarding if Dragon Dictate was available in Australia. The support person obviously didn't know where I was from. But he indicated that the boxed set include a headphone and he says therefore it couldn't be downloaded. However if you want to download it is just a matter of contact and him and downloading. Tomorrow I will check and see if one of the languages is Australian English, I think it is.

I think any decent headset with the boom mike will work.

If you login to their website http://www.nuance.com/for-individuals/by-product/dragon-for-mac/dragon-dictate/index.htm and just use the Canada/America section you can find everything.
I can't find the name of my rep there I'll look tomorrow.

This is being typed using Dragon Dictate. Dragon Dictate allows you to talk and the computer to type your words as you speak. Any arrows, I will blame on the soft wear. ;-)
