You can get the full facebook page in Safari, though it lacks full functionality (i.e. scrolling through lists that appear on pop ups and the chat function).
You can also use the touch.facebook.com page in Safari as well (and you can create an icon for the Ipad for either page. Or you can use the facebook iPhone app. It sucks.
