have you tried different settings? maybe crunching using ffmpeg instead of h264?
does the dvd play? it may be a scratch. if it does not have copy protection, copy it to the disk drive first maybe.

I want to rip rip a couple of DVDs to watch on vacation on my iPad. The first one went fine (i think) but I can't seem to rip any others using Handbrake. Is there something I am missing????
