[MacBook] Re: Synching iPhone to MBP after drive replacement

20101003

Thanks to Roger & Rob. I am waiting on my spouse to bring her phone back from the restaurant so I can try Roger's idea first. Bit of a crowd today but she did not call me to help :-/.

We did not have any purchased (ie, with a cost) stuff, only free apps I think (too tight here, so far), but what a pain to record the names and then re-download each application.

I'll have to think about the data loss considerations, for each app.

I have been cogitating on how synch works in general for some time. When I change, for example, calendar items on both iPhone and MBP between synchs, what governs, or can Synch pick up all the changes, stir the pot and determine priorities? This may have been covered here and I just glossed since it was b4 we bought phones and cared :-[.
