[MacBook] no lights under keys MacBookPro

 

Hi, MacBookPro with OS X 10.5.8 -- the keyboard no longer has lights under it. Also, the battery loses about a percent a day, even when plugged in & then at about 95% it recharges to 100%. What's up?
