I would see the apple/ iTunes icon flashing on my laptop. After I click on the apple/iTunes icon at the bottom of my screen, I get a pop up box saying there is an update to fix bugs, etc. Then, I click on that, click on the agree button, then I let it do it's thing. I have iTunes on my laptop. That's all I know. If I get a box that says to update iTunes & something else, I just do it after reading what it's supposed to fix or update. Sorry to confuse you.
I wanted the ebook in my amazon/kindle library in the cloud, but I didn't know that I could click on the attachment from my iPad & make it into an eBook in iBooks. I don't know how to do this. Do I go into my iBooks App & click on something there to do it? I'll have to the iBooks App to see.

Last night I went on to go to amazon to click on the "send to kindle" to put on my laptop, so that I could make an ebook out of a PDF attachment which I did, but I would have loved to do this from my iPad. Also, I had to download Apples update. Personally, I sync to the cloud on the ithings, but I still update all the Apple updates on my laptop.
