Can you send a screenshot of what you're seeing?
Without that I would try the following in order to see if any will fix the problem.
1. Try the "forget this network" first. That will require you to use the password again on the next attempt.
2. Restart the iPad.
3. Reset (reboot) the iPad.
If none of those work then call Apple support unless someone else in the group has another idea.
Let us know if one of those is successful.

I opened the cover to go to Settings to turn on the WIFI. Page popped up upon turning back the cover saying my iPad was not set up even though it showed my WIFI listed it said I needed to choose another network. I can't even shut it off or get to another page.
I can't use another network.
I'd appreciate any help to get my mini back. This iPad is too big and heavy for me.
