My bt headset (Sennheiser 450-MX?) has its own volume ctrl, too. But ipad physical button max & headset button max still left volume too low. Opening Music app & maxing that volume ctrl was necessary to get sound up to listenable level. Three volume controls were required in this case.
Windows can behave like this, too.
No big deal - just a quirk. I really thot I might have overlooked sth. Evidently not.
I have. My bluetooth headset (LG Tone) has it's own volume which is independent of the volume slider on the side of the iPad. But those are the only buttons I need to use to increase/decrease the volume. I don't have to open the Music app.
Anyway, not all BT headsets are the same. But the volume buttons on your iPad should be working.Or not. ;)
TedSent from my iPad 3Nope. Try it yself with a bt headset. Or not :0)
- ipdt5Yes, it appears the side buttons can override the Bluetooth item and avoid you having to go into the music app. There is still a limit though. I believe at some point I saw a volume limiter in the settings app which can be turned on and off to either aid or prevent deafening ourselves. :-)Hope it helps.
Cheers,B.L>Like Barbara-Lynn said, use the volume control buttons on the side of your iPad. These are the same controls the Music app uses.
TedSent from my iPad 3Sorry - neglected to mention I'd set the physical switch to max. With the earphones (blututh) there's no on-screen volume control in youtube (just checked :0)--david@luda.netpad4What about the volume buttons on the side of the iPhone/iPad?Also if you make the YouTube app full screen, then touch the screen, the on-screen volume is on the bottom of the screen. Just slide your finger to the right to turn it up. Left to turn it down.I use these all the time.
Cheers,B.L>
Just watched a youtube video in a noisy restaurant (with earphones, of course :0). Volume was very low - hard to hear. No on-screen volume control. Went to the music app and upped the volume. Much better. But should this detour have been necessary? Was I missing something?
