I looked at the weather and it is supposted to be only 63 the day we arrive. Darn. We're bringing the Vermont cold with us. Will it be warmer inland?
Marines. Hmmm. It will be fun watching them chase the college girls who are likely to be spending Spring break in the complex. Of course all of them will be young enough to (almost) be our grandchildren.
I hope the forecast is a little off. I sure could use a few 80 degree days on the beach. I finally got orthotics which will make it possible for me to walk more than 2 blocks without pain. Walking miles on sand is a treat I'm looking forward to more than anything.

Shorts for day, light jackets at night. So far, we are in the low 80's daytime and low to mid 50's at night. Good shoes are usual, but set your weather app to get the forecasts for Oceanside/San Diego areas.
It's home to the camp Pentalton crowd, so a lot of military are there. Marines, mainly.
