Next week my DH and I escape to SoCal for a week's worth of relief from winter weather. I would be grateful for any tips our California members could give me about appropriate clothing, sights to see, restaurants, etc.
We'll be staying in a beachside condo in Oceanside. Would light jeans be appropriate? Shorts? Jackets needed? We'd also like to travel a little inland one day if we get the chance. Will it be much warmer?
Any and all comments, recommendations, caveats welcome. We are looking forward to this break and would like to make the most of it. Many thanks in advance.
