Also, if you bought songs, apps etc on the old PC, de-authorize it and long in on your new PC. Authorize this and go into your 'Purchase history'. You should be able to re-download things for free.


Hopefully, you can in fact, simply copy over from the old computer. *I* actually keep my iTunes on an external drive. It keeps all my stuff I've imported & bought on it. I use that as the "Source drive" for my iTunes library.

you really need to copy your iTunes folder over from your old PC. I suggest to Google that and have a read first.
 
There is an option to transfer purchases, but I think thats onky purchased content.

Evening folks!
We got a new computer and I downloaded iTunes. I tried to sync my ipad, hoping to move my music & such from my iPad to my computer, but the error message says it will wipe everything from my iPad. Is there anyway to move from the iPad to the pc? Not sure how to do so.
