Because the land line is available in both the rooms.
The signal from one wifi is very weak, hence slow in distant rooms.
We have two iPads for two persons in the family and both want to use it at the same time.
The capacity of net is 4 Mbps but not used to even a tenth of its capacity by either of the users.

Could there be better reasons for not going in for separate new connection at additional expense?
