I heard it pop back in place. I had a fracture on the bone and I think that is one reason they did not shove it back in. They had told me that as long as the fractured bone piece stays in place I would not need surgery.

Unfortunately, fractures heal much more slowly in the 7th decade of life than in the 2nd or 3rd...
