Lazy webmasters cause this issue. It isn't the OS, it is the bank not writing their websites to common standards.
Usually Firefox will work with them when Safari won't or Google Chrome can be used.
My bank's website will work with Safari just fine with one exception and that is to get to one of the menu items that doesn't show up in Safari. I've talked to the bank's webmaster but it is an effort in futility.
Most likely most of your data from your Windows box will work with some software on the Mac, for those that won't, consider getting Parallels or VMWare and installing Windows as a virtual machine on the Mac.

I wanna shift from PC to Mac but one of my friends encountered a problem with access of the bank account through a Mac or Ipad, so when he reached the customer service they suggested to access the account through a PC and he could, did any one have a similar problem? And it is easy to move data through a portable hard drive but i wanna ask weather all the PC soft wares run on the Mac?
