I totally agree Elizabeth. It's a scary thing. No chips in me or my dog, please.

Helpful yes. Is a bit different than implanting something in my brain. How do I know what it's true purpose? Yes, perhaps I am paranoid, distrustful.

Alzheimer's people who wander off and get lost or killed in falls on their 'little walks', getting lost and sick etc. someone with a seizure disorder was in the store with his family and they'd bought this GPS collar for pets. Now, whenever he goes out on his own (Walks or bikes), he could disappear for some time. But with that thing on him, his family knows where he is. Well worth the $8.00 a month subscription to his family!
To be 'implanted' against one's will, I can understand your feelings. But if it would help save my life, for example, well... uhm.... Hell, Sign me up. :-)On Aug 26, 2012, at 12:06 AM, Elizabeth <eawalker@charter.net> wrote:A year or so ago I watched some science program that talked about a British scientist that was developing a chip to put in people's head. For memory or something. Freaked me out. Something I definitely would NOT want!
