Yes. I have always used screen protector on my digital diaries,  touch screen mobile phones ( including iPhone 4) and iPad. I do change the change the plastic every 2-3 years.

Do any of you use one for your iPad?  I have one for my iPhone, but then I take that everywhere with me, which I don't with the iPad.  I will be traveling it with the iPad soon, and want to know if the $39.99 (Zagg Invisible Shield) for the screen protector was worth it.  I know there are less expensive ones out there, but this one apparently most mimics having no screen protector.

I do have a case for my iPad, so it does have protection.
