If you are buying an iPad new I'd look at Apple. A store if you are close to one. If not check to see if online shipping would meet your schedule.
Depending on your needs look at Apple.com to see if they have any refurbished. If they do they are normally $50 cheaper.
Online I've seen other online store offer the refurbished or used.

Amazon seems to have some too, just read lots and lots of ads as you can find different prices for the same model. Well, sort of, there is a $10 difference in price for a new iPad 2. The white version was cheaper.
Amazon has a good return policy. Apple would too.
