Good point. I am tech literate, I am Wintel literate, and while I have a 4S and iPad3, using my Auntys iMac is way different. My prior experience on MAC OS was zero. I fumbled through fixing her video res issue. I fumbled through adding a 3G stick to the USB then turning on Air something to make it an access point for her iPad1. I didnt even know that Air thing existed, and a very cool feature.
But, I didnt use my Wintel mindset. I knew MAC OS is different so I used what I hoped was Apple logic and just followed my nose.
She is terminally ill unfortunately and insists I have her iMac one day, so I will look forward to that, but in a very sad way.
