To get Kindle books on your iPad -- VERY EASY -- NO JAILBREAK NEEDED!!!
I'm assuming you want to use the Kindle app on the iPad.
Be sure your iPad is authorized with your Kindle Store account. You may have
to go to the Amazon page to do this. I'm sure it wasn't hard, I've done it
for four devices. The KS help files probably have a how-to about it.
Open the Kindle app on your iPad.
In the lower left you'll see an Archived Items button -- touch that to go to
your archives, go through the list & touch each title you want on your iPad;
it'll download to your Kindle app Home screen. Done!
What's more, you can "delete" books from your iPad & re-d/l them anytime to
any of your iDevices. My devices don't all have the same books on them. But
if I'm reading on one device & open the same book on another, it does sync
to the same page (as long as I have a wifi connection, of course.)
You can go to the Kindle Store on Amazon with Safari right on your iPad and
buy more Kindle books, just be sure the little "deliver to" button is set to
your iPad. It's *way* too easy$$$. And if you buy a K-book on your computer
& set it to deliver to your iPad, then it'll d/l to the iPad automatically
the next time the K-app is open on your iPad & internet-connected. (again,
*way to ea$y!)
Games -- you buy as apps in the iTunes store & sync to your device. You can
also buy & d/l directly to your device. Use the App Store app that comes
built-in on the iPad.

I like to play games and read. I have a ton of Kindle books on my computer,
but cannot figure out how to get them onto the Kindle app. on my iPad. The
same with games. Those are the kinds of things I wish to learn. Someone
had just told me that to get my books on there I'd have to jailbreak the
iPad, and I am as dumb as dirt when it comes to that. Mainly, I was just
