Re: [iPad] Re: Cell Phone Provider Coverage Question

I wondered this same thing when I was thinking I might be able to get an iPhone cheaper then through Verizon. I e-mailed Verizon customer service and was pleasantly surprised to get a very detailed 'how to' from them about adding a phone to my account that I received elsewhere. I haven't used it yet, but it didn't seem that complicated. I could have either added it as a new line, or used to replace my current smart phone. It would be more complicated if you added a smart phone and your contract wasn't for the services that are needed to use a smart phone, if that makes any sense?

Michelle (or anyone else) -- a dumb question: if you buy a phone from
someone other than Verizon, ATT, etc - how do you add that phone to your
existing contract?

all phones are different. The cheap phone might actually work better
than the iPhone. In any case you already know ATT works so why bother
switching?
