Yes.... I checked for update & it said was up to date.  But I am playing around & gave up.  So I started playing bejeweled blitz on FB and the sound went to the tv.  But the video did not.  Strange.

Just opened my photos & I noticed a new icon the shows an arrow pointing up inside a square.  I clicked on that & the photos showed up on my tv screen.  

Still trying to figure out how to get everything else show on the tv screen.... Unless this is only good for photos.  I was under the impression that you could see anything from your iPad.

As it is written in the manual:

You can mirror the iPad 2 screen on a TV with Apple TV. Everything on the iPad screen appears on the TV.
Mirror the iPad 2 screen on a TV:  Tap the AirPlay button at the left end of the multitasking bar, choose an Apple TV, and tap the Mirroring button that appears.

A blue bar appears at the top of the iPad screen when AirPlay mirroring is turned on. 



No blue bar appears at the top of the iPad screen.  And nothing appears on my tv from the iPad.  Double :( :(
