[MacBook] Sidebar Wipeout

 

When I looked for my Finder Sidebar just now, I could swear I heard the Surfaris in the far background. It was GONE, again, back to default. Wiped out.

Does anyone have a clue why this happens, seemingly every so often without a cause? I'm on a MBP 13 with the newest OS, and I cannot think of a thing I did to cause it.

This has been happening since I started using OS X.
