Haven't had landline phone for ten years. Waste of money.

PeteElaine. Verizon customer service is not horrible. Actually good. If you get a newbie hang up and call back. AT&T is good in large cities and interstates. Poor service off the beaten path. Verizon is good in large cities, interstates, and rural America. Just look at the coverage maps.
Good luck.Jerry R. Elkins98 American Tradition 40TVSValle Del Ora RV ResortMesa, AZ 85209

I understand that, but I grew up with the adage that the customer us always right. I worked in retail five years and we had training on empathizing with your customer. Even if you couldn't help them, you made them feel like you at least understood and cared about their problem--not like they are a bother interrupting your day.

This thread is EXACTLY why, as much as possible, I gather whatever information I can from carrier websites and technical reviews and comparisons, and then deal AS MUCH AS POSSIBLE with Apple, and not directly with the carriers.
